Compliance Requirements and Applicability
The Electrical Planning Report requirement applies to all regions of British Columbia, including rural communities, and covers every type of strata corporation, such as:

- Bare land strata
- Industrial and commercial strata properties
- Leasehold strata
- Recreational strata corporations
EPRs are a one-time assessment that must:
- Be maintained as part of the strata corporation’s official records
- Be attached to the Form B Information Certificate, similar to a Depreciation Report
- Cannot be waived or exempted by a ¾ vote
